Before & After: Julia's Sofa

Last summer my good friend, Julia, bought a mid century sofa with great bones off of Craigslist, but the color wasn't what she had in mind...

So off to the upholsterers she went and transformed it into this sleek modern beauty...

Another comfy view...

Looks fabulous Julia! Why buy new when there are loads of great vintage furniture around? These easy to find pieces can be transformed into exactly what you want and represent a green choice.

    1. She's in Portland, but I have an upholsterer that is incredible in Merrifield. His name is Cris from Already Covered and here is his # 703-204-1041. He's so nice too! Can't wait to see your new art opening!!! xx D

  3. Love the choice to convert the 8 cushions into 4 large cushions--very sleek!

  4. I love that she went down to 4 cushions as well -- doesn't look as busy.

I'll have to save the number for Already Covered for future reference since I'm in the area!
