Some favorites on Craigslist in DC/NOVA. Here we go yo...
Exotic Black Chairs $175 (kinda cool, but for some reason i don't like when chairs match and are different heights. what the big one is for man and little for woman!??! i may be smaller, but i'm takin' the kings chair!)...
Velvet PB Sofa $450 (this was probably special ordered. i like it. keep the walls white or maybe even a soft grey blue)...
2 Velvet Sofas $300 (the front is awesome, but i would reupholster the back in a print)...
Maybe this print below for the sofas above?...
Dunbar Cane Chairs $300/each (beautiful and i totally love the velvet)...
Set of 6 Grey WE Frames $50 (need frames? i see them on an olive colored wall)...
Pair of Asian Century Furniture Chairs $450/both (saw similar ones at a vintage shop on Monday and they were selling for over $500/piece)...
Vintage Console $350 (love the detail on this)...
Coffee Table $150 (really like the shape of this, but i think i would prefer in a solid color. leave the glass etching though)...
WE Goodwin Sofa $400 (i'd offer less, but nice shape and versatile color)...
2 Thomas Paul Pillows $100 (great black/white peacock print. would look fabulous on the sofa above ;)..
Vintage Dresser/Desk $95 (great price and perfect for bedroom, when you don't want your desk in the open)...
Small Dresser $45 (fun detail that would look nice with a splash of color)...
How about blue for the dresser above, see below...
via Southern Living (spotted on Primitive & Proper)
Dining Table 6 Chairs $50 (great starter set. so easy to reupholster as well. we can all sit around talkin' 'bout the 80's ;)...
4 Panels Chocolate Velvet Curtains $80 (why buy new?)...
Antique Settee $150 (i know not everyone likes pink, but i like this sweet girl and great price)...
Here's an inspirational image for the settee above...
Ned Marshall via DecorPad
Marble Top Table $495 obo (pricey, but wow she's a beaut.)...
Long Couch $75 (nice, simple sofa and maybe the fabric is totally cool in person)...
2 Vintage Gold Chairs $40/each (oooh, nice and shiny. could be fun in the right space)...
Louis XV Upholstered Armchair $70 (i could help you re-upholster this. i'm really diggin' the shape)...
Pair of Orange Chairs $40 (the orange is a tad electric for me, but at this price maybe these would be good chairs to learn how to re-upholster on)...
Dining Room Set $150 (a lot for a good price. i think i have mentioned this before, but paint has the power to transform)...
Queen Anne Style Dresser $350 (pricey i think, but would be cool painted a hot color)...
The dresser above could look absolutely incredible painted yellow, as evidenced below...
Jonathan Adler via Elle Decor
The image above inspired Cassie from Hi Sugarplum! to paint her daughter's dresser..
Doesn't it look incredible????? You have to pop over to see the amazing job her and her mother did to transform the dresser. Just click on the image!
Queen Anne Wingchair $35 (great price for re-upholstering)...
Maybe paint the legs of the chairs above black, add mustard yellow leather with a few nail head details and tufting then you have something similar to these gems...
Cafiero Select Tribeca Project
Victorian Style Blue Chevron Chair $85 (vintage chevron. like. maybe paint the legs a wild color like purple, why not. do something different.)...
Mirror hand carved gold $160 (i adore mirrors like this hung in bathrooms)...
Here's an example of a gorgeous mirror in a bathroom, as inspiration for the mirror above...
Janie Hirsch
Black French Provincial Dresser $85 (already painted for you and good price at that)...
Antique French Walnut Dining Set $5000 (at this price, this needs to go in an antique store...yikes)...
Glass top end tables $50 (come on you can't get side tables cheaper at target! and these are so fun)....
Queen Bedframe $300 (like the shape)...
Vintage 60's Vanity $499 (if i could afford this gorgeous girl, she would so be mine)...
Hope you all have an awesome weekend!
