Fresh Quince?

Fresh for the feeling it evokes. I want this to be fun and inspiring...a new fresh take on something second hand, a new product on the market that is eco-minded or finding that little unknown local second hand shop!

The color of a quince is somewhere between green and yellow. Its hue is happy, fun and my favorite shade of green. I could not bring myself to put "green" in my title...aren't we all sick of 'green-washing'? In Turkey the women buy quince, not only to eat, but to add a wonderfully fresh aroma to their home. I was too young to remember, but my mother has fond memories of our neighbors in Istanbul with bowls of quince.

Quince Everyday:

Hunter Boot in Lime
Hunter uses a natural rubber, so the boots last longer and they are more environmentally friendly than plastic.

quince
Porcelain Quince from Sweet Bella
I make something similar to this out of pottery and it will be a giveaway as soon as I make at least 5, can't have 4 or 2. I am obsessed with odd numbers.

Benjamin Moore 2025-40 Limelight
Limelight from Benjamin Moore...the Natura line of course, because I find the Aura line smelly.

domino neon green
Domino's take on neon lime green. I think anyone could replicate this with Craigslist finds or eco-friendly furniture.

Does anyone else love the color of quince like I do? It just goes with everything, every season and every mood...right?

Cheers,
Danielle

Welcome to Fresh Quince!

Hello and Welcome!
For the past year I have been engrossed in the blog world and have been amazed at the incredible talent that is out there. What I have noticed is a limited amount of environmentally minded design blogs, so I decided to start my own. I have so many ideas and thoughts that I would love to share on how to live in tune with nature and still have beautiful and comfortable living environments. I also want to share my progress in turning my 1935 Cape Cod home into an eco-minded gem. I want this to be fun, inspirational and attainable on many levels. Hope you all enjoy and thanks for stopping by!
Sincerely,
Danielle
