Toile Madness Take 2

These two images are from the gorgeous home of Dagny from Scandinavian Chic. Not only is her home (which recently sold) gorgeous, she is too...follow her on instagram to see her stunningly beautiful ensembles. I love her style...maximalist at its best!

NYC

My heart goes out to everyone on the eastcoast who has been affected by Sandy's devastation. Our climate is changing for sure. I'm hoping it will be a wake up call to everyone...we need to be so much more mindful than we've ever been before. I love design and creating cheerful spaces, but never at the cost of our environment. I buy second hand, re-use what I have and make mindful purchases when I can.

Happy interiors don't have to make for a sad earth.

American Red Cross and Global Green are both doing a tremendous job in NYC right now. http://globalgreen.org/

Do You Pong?

I do.
Years ago when I bought my first cell phone I was initially skeptical about the heat radiating from the ear piece, but as time went on I forgot about it. Fast forward 5 years and I read an article about the harmful radiation that cell phones emit. After doing a bit more investigating I came across Pong Research:
http://www.pongresearch.com/
They have developed technology to reduce the amount of radiation cell phones emit, specifically for iPhone, Blackberry, and iPads. So guess what, I'm a loyal customer. Not only do I feel more comfortable having my boys play with my phone, I am more than pleased with their customer service. Recently my case broke, they were quick to respond and I received my new case in the mail right away. As a side note I recommend the 'Rugged' cases, especially if you're clumsy like myself.
